So what are everyone's thoughts on the released pictures of the upcoming Avatar movie, The Last Airbender?

Odd to have Sailor Moon and Aang together hmm? Well I don't mean in a pairing...although now I have to wonder if someone was brave enough to do that since I found out recently, due to dirobi that there's a Hannah Montana/Teen Titans fanfiction crossover. Yeah there's a lot of crazy things out there. But anyways, what are your guys thoughts on it? A lot of people are angry/annoyed with Aang that he couldn't bring himself to kill Ozai even if it meant the world suffering. However, Sailor Moon does the same thing when the world was in danger of Phaoroh 90 and Mistress 9--but she couldn't bring herself to kill Mistress 9 b'cuz it meant Hotaru/Sailor Saturn dying and yet NO ONE disses her on it. Instead Neptune and Uranus are dissed for being "bitches about it" and so on and so on. I don't get it. I mean why? Neptune and Uranus called Sailor Moon on how wrong it was for to risk the world for one girl and people are angry? And yet no one is angry, I think, with fans saying that Aang was wrong to risk the world's safety by sparing Ozai. So what do you guys think? Were they both wrong or what? B'cuz they were both in the same situation.

I praise King for stepping up and saying something. I think it's an absolute JOKE to compare Meyer with J.K. Rowling--and this is coming from someone who LIKED "Twilight" (just not its sequels). Although I wouldn't go as far as to say that Meyer can't write---but this hype over Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn (I don't know HOW --ANYONE-- could like this one especially) is overdone. It's good, I'll admit, but not great---and definitely NOT in King or Rowling's feild.

And you know what? Bella is a mary-sure----especially in BD. She reminds me of anime-Kagome from Inuyasha.

I auditioned for a play, and it took all my energy NOT to run out of there.

No, unless I'm really tired--like I stayed up all night. That happened once, with a friend, during New Years where I wasn't allowed to sleep or she'd wake me up. XD But it was so fun!

08. If the person you secretly like is already taken, what would you do?
Drew Barrymore called it: A girl's girl. I feel that girls/women should be able to look out for each other in that department---never look back, I say, he's taken.

09. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Not being able to travel.

10. What's your favorite dessert?
Strawberry ice-cream.

11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Fifteen to thirty minutes. I don't put on make up or anything, and I have my clothes picked out already.

A history class, a psychology class, and an English class.

From the theatres or in general? Cuz I watched this old movie called "Employee of the Month" starring Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson. It was funnier than I thought it would be.

LOL. No I wouldn't choose to live forever. Watching everyone I knew pass on while I was forever trapped here until the galaxy died? Sounds sad. No thanks.

18. What is your least favorite thing to do that you have to do every day?
Getting out of bed.

So far? When I hang out with my friends and we do crazy things that have people starring at us--wondering if we're on something (other than sugar). XD

I post this up late because I just watched Fool's Gold and Mad Money tonight with my mom. By the way, I absolutely recommend Mad Money if you like comedy--truth be told I thought it would be bad, but it wasn't. It had me on the edge of my seat and laughing all at once. :)  

Anyways I'm just here to vent about my misfortune for next week. My mom apparently says that we won't have cable for next week--and I'm going: WTF?! No! You can't let this happen! 

This is not fair. I've been a fan for a really long time, and to think I'm gonna miss it on TV makes me really sad. I mean I want to help the ratings for this show---especially the finale--I wanna contribute damnit! TT__TT 

Most of my friends have given up on Avatar, and no longer that into it because of the long hiatus we all had to endure. First they give us this nine month gap betweeen season two and three; and then in the middle of season three, they cut off after 311. Not to mention, they're not as obsessed as me. XD So them going wasn't too hard for them.

To think I won't be able to look at the ratings list that Dongbufeng.net will probably post and say, "Yes! At least I did a little bit to contribute and help Mike and Bryan." 

Gawd, it's a whole week! 

And while I have my good buddy, who is hanging out with me on Friday so we can go to a concert, the next night will be oh so painful, because I had everything planned out. Watching a two hour finale with popcorn and drinks with me, and no one to interrupt. Grrr....

I think it's very important to keep our ratings high and stick to Nick, whose been utterly cruel (and even released a book, spoiling the ending)! I mean we should help out anyway we can: watching the show, buying DVDs, etc. 

Avatar was voted Favorite Cartoons by the fans; Avatar is being made into a LIVE-ACTION movie (three of them!); and it's all cuz of loyal fans. TT___TT And now I feel like I'm letting Mike and Bryan down...somewhat....I mean one person can make a difference! There was that one president (am I bad at history or what?) that won by one vote. XDD 

OK yeah maybe I'm going overboard, but I just feel bad that I won't be able to contribute with the ratings next week. Not to mention, I've waited so long and to not be able to see it on TV sucks. Plus, like Lisa said from TV.com and DeviantART, we Avatards help put food on Mike and Bryan's plates by being the loyal fans we are. :) 

Besides, if you waited for nine freakin' months; adding that to the 6 months we just had---wouldn't you be pretty POed if you found out you couldn't watch the show you've been waiting for and going crazy over?????

But just to warn you, I will watch it and post entries on my thoughts of the episodes from The Southern Raiders  to the finale.

*sighs*

On another note...did you know they're making a live-action movie on DBZ? XD I laughed. 

 Eww this is so wrong. I've got nothing against Japan or Japanese, and I've realized that American dubbs of anime suck, but I think it's safe to say that it may actually go both ways...I guess nothing's better than the original. 

I watched the movie PS: I Love You with my mom and I must say I really liked that movie. It's about a woman (Hilary Swank) who lost her huband and then she finds out that before his death, he made plans for letters being sent to her (through various ways) once and awhile to help her get over the loss of him.  It's a very bittersweet movie. 

There were times where I was tempted to cry either because her late husband was being really sweet or because she was having a hard time moving on since she had lost him. They had been together since she was 19 years old and he died before her 30th birthday. 


Anyways it was a great movie and I recommend it to anyone who likes this type of movie. It's funny, dramatic, and heartwarming all in one.

Over at the Distant Horizon Forums, in the Taang thread, some members deviated from the topic; and to prevent ourselves from getting in trouble, I made a place where we could talk about Justice League/Justice League Unlimited and etc. and here it is. ^_^

Abridged series are so fun. I love the Avatar Abridged Series a lot (the one by GanXingba), but you know Sailor Moon's isn't bad at all. I was laughing the entire time. Especially if you've watched the dubbed, it'll have you laughing. Unless of course, I'm too easily amused.

A lot of people today were talking about this, and it's through that that I only found out. I don't know what to really think about this except that I feel sorry for the child and his family. I don't know if it states in the article, but it was said today that he did pass away yesterday afternoon. It's very unforunate, and I wonder if anime in the U.S will be affected by having it more regulated. I've heard some comments on forums on the internet and some are really insensitive about this topic. People are saying he should have known better, however he was ten years old. I remember when I was ten, I did some pretty crazy things; and you have to remember not everyone grows up the same way. There are those more sheltered than others;  therefore naive more than others. Please remember that a ten year old boy's life was taken and his family is grieving, thereofre this is a really tough time for them.

The children who were with him by the way, helping him bury himself will not, of course, be held responsible considering their young age.
